Manchester United and Tottenham return from the international break with plenty to put right when they meet at Old Trafford on Saturday. United’s last league outing ended in a 1-1 draw at Fulham, rescued by a Matheus Cunha equaliser in the 89th minute. Spurs came closer to a comeback against Aston Villa: Conor Gallagher and Jan Paul van Hecke scored late on, but a 3-2 home defeat left them still looking for their first Premier League win of the season.
It is a significant return to club football for Michael Carrick and Roberto De Zerbi. The Premier League’s Matchweek 6 preview points to United’s five points from their first five games and Spurs’ winless start. Tottenham did at least end their league scoring drought against Villa, having failed to score in their first four matches. Now the visitors face United at a ground where they lost 2-0 in February.
Kick-off and UK TV coverage
Manchester United v Tottenham Hotspur is scheduled for Saturday 10 October 2026 at 5.30pm BST at Old Trafford, Manchester. The Premier League’s revised UK television schedule lists Sky Sports as the broadcaster; Manchester United’s fixture announcement confirms the same kick-off time and UK channel.
Sky’s live guide shows the match on Sky Sports Premier League HD and Sky Sports Main Event HD, with its programme listing starting at 5.00pm, half an hour before kick-off. If your Sky TV subscription includes Sky Sports, Sky Go also carries the subscribed channels on compatible devices.
Live Premier League matches shown by Sky are also available on NOW with an active Sports Day or Sports Month Membership. NOW supports its app on selected TVs, streaming devices, consoles, tablets and phones, as well as a supported computer browser.
As listed on NOW’s UK Sports help page on 8 October, a Day Membership costs £14.99 for 24 hours and starts immediately; a Month Membership costs £34.99 a month and renews unless cancelled. Minimum-term offers can continue billing until their term ends even after cancellation, so check the offer attached to your account before paying. For full HD on NOW, you need Boost or Ultra Boost and a compatible device; NOW says neither upgrade can be added if Sports Day is your only active membership.
