1. Who is responsible
MatchonTV is operated by Simplifidenet Limited, an Irish company (company number 593197) with its registered office at Ground Floor, 71 Lower Baggot Street, Dublin D02 P593, Ireland. For privacy questions or requests, contact info@simplifide.net.
2. Information processed
MatchonTV does not require an account and does not ask for your name, postal address or precise location.
Our infrastructure may receive standard request data such as IP address, approximate country or region, device and operating-system information, language, timestamps and requested pages. The app uses approximate country information to prioritise local broadcasters and apply regional legal rules.
When you use search, the search term and timezone are sent to our search service. When you open an eligible affiliate destination, our click router records the offer, sport, match and competition together with a click identifier, IP-derived country, IP address, user agent, referrer, request parameters and redirect audit for attribution, security and fraud prevention.
Your timezone, TV region, language, theme, advertising choice and favourites are stored locally on your device. Local match reminders are scheduled in the device notification centre. Remote push is disabled in this release; if introduced later, it will require a separate opt-in and will use an installation identifier, encrypted push token, preferences and followed match, team or competition identifiers.
The advertising SDK is dormant in this release: automatic Android initialization, network fill, advertising-ID access and ad requests are disabled. If a reviewed direct campaign is enabled later, its impression, click, IP and diagnostic processing will be disclosed before activation; personalised advertising will remain unavailable unless a compliant consent flow and updated notice are in place.
3. Why information is used
We use the information described above to provide schedules, scores, broadcaster listings and regional compliance; remember your settings; protect and operate the service; diagnose faults; measure aggregate service performance; and meet legal obligations.
Depending on the context, processing is based on providing the service you request, our legitimate interests in operating and securing MatchonTV, consent where required, or compliance with law.
4. Providers and external destinations
We use service providers for sports data, hosting, content delivery, approximate geolocation, content management and, where enabled, advertising. They process information only for the relevant service and under their own or our contractual safeguards.
Broadcaster, publisher and affiliate links open third-party services. Affiliate links pass MatchonTV campaign attribution and match context through the Livesportnet click router before redirection. Those services have their own privacy practices and may assign their own identifiers. MatchonTV does not receive your password, payment details or betting-account balance from them.
5. Retention and security
Local preferences remain on your device until you change them, clear app data or uninstall the app. The click router retains raw clicks, landing-page clicks and inbound postback records for 365 days, conversion records for 1,095 days and hourly or daily reporting aggregates for 1,825 days; deletion by database retention rules can occur asynchronously.
Search cache entries are retained for no more than 24 hours and are then removed by a bounded automatic purge. They are stored under opaque keyed identifiers and are not associated with a MatchonTV account. Hosting, content-delivery and external destinations may apply separate documented retention periods.
We use proportionate technical and organisational safeguards, but no internet or device storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
6. International processing
Some providers may process data outside your country. Where required, we rely on adequacy decisions, contractual safeguards or another lawful transfer mechanism.
7. Your choices and rights
You can change the TV region, language, theme, advertising preference and reminders in Settings. You can remove favourites in the app, revoke notification permission in system settings, clear app storage or uninstall the app. If remote push is introduced, disabling it will also request deletion of the server-side installation record.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent and complain to a data-protection authority. Contact info@simplifide.net to exercise a right.
8. Children
MatchonTV is a sports information service and is not directed to children for gambling purposes. Betting offers and odds are disabled unless the geodetected market policy explicitly permits them, and applicable age and responsible-gambling messages are shown.
9. Changes
We may update this policy when the service, providers or law changes. The current version and effective date are always available on this screen. Material changes will be highlighted where required.
